Divorced & ShotDIVORCED & SHOT For too many years churches have had the bad habit of shooting their wounded. Many fine Christian people are divorced against their will. Their former mates were sexually unfaithful and diserted them for someone else. This stand by the churches was to slow the divorce rate down and it has not worked. No one wants to encourage divorce but we can shoot our wounded when they need our help and encouragment. DivorceCare is a very good program churches can use to facilitate help for members being divorced against their will and who are hurting. It is not a dating service, its a support group. Any Godly Christian church worker or pastor can find themselves in this situation. Does the fact of an immoral mate stop them from God’s service? God forbid. What is your thoughts on this?
